This summer sees the return of Ian McLagan, an original rock and roller from the halcyon days of the 1960s. He’s been there with his trademark Hammond B3 as distinctive as Marriott’s vocal on Itchycoo Park and it’s there with Rod Stewart on Maggie May and You Wear It Well. Then there is his other band the Faces where his Wurlitzer Electric Piano puts the soul into classics such as Stay With Me… and then it appears again on the Rolling Stones smash Miss You! New album ‘Never Say Never’ is released through Maniac on 7th July 2008 and is backed up with a full set of UK dates. This is McLagan’s first tour of the UK since he joined up with Billy Bragg as one of the blokes on the 2006 Hope Not Hate tour and his first record since 2006’s Spiritual Boy appreciation of Ronnie Lane. |

Welcome to Thoroughbred Music |
The conception of forming “Thoroughbred Music “ was born out of the musical experiences of licensee and restaurateur Adrian Collis. Adrian, who, until recently, has run venues which are renowned for great live music and local food, has for some years been an advocate of live music in pubs and club circuits, especially local up and coming talent. Adrian decided that with the contacts he had made, and the experiences with the music world would stand him in good stead to launch a music promotional and artiste management business of his own in parallel to putting on live music in his own venue! Hence the formation of Thoroughbred music. |
