Barbara J Hunt is a Somerset based singer songwriter of the highest quality. Barbara has a wonderful voice which is equal in quality to one of her biggest inspirations, Joni Mitchell. Barbara has recently teamed up with Dizzi Dulicmer to form a new act “Intricate”.
Barbara J Hunt’s heartfelt songs have appeared in the British hit comedy movie ‘Confetti’ (2006) and more recently one of her songs was sung by Ben Barnes in ‘Killing Bono’ (2011). Dizzi and Barbara first played together at Glastonbury in 2010 and decided to do a couple of projects together. Barbara describes herself as ‘eclectic musically and philosophically’ and says her collaboration with Dizzi ‘brings out a deeper intricacy and resonance in her songs of love and awakening’.

Not only is Dizzi one of the world’s leading dulcimer players, she’s also a drummer, dancer, mosaic artist and jewellery maker. This current musical collaboration sees her playing a lot of hang drum on several of Barbara’s haunting songs.
